Chinakohl ist eine traditionelle chinesisches Gemüse und eignet sich besonders gut für schmackhafte Salate. Die Sorte "Granaat" bildet hohe, relative feste Köpfe bei einer kurzen Entwicklungsdauer. Es ist empfehlenwert, Chinakohl nach dem Anbau von Erbsen oder Frühkartoffeln als Zweit- bzw. Nachfrucht zu pflanzen
